Robert Kessler has more than 25 years of research and development in the areas of programming languages, systems, distributed/parallel systems, software engineering, and agents. His most recent efforts have been in the area of improving undergradaute computer science education. He has authored two books (one on Lisp and one on pair programming) and over fifty journal and conference publications.
Professor Kessler has received over $6.5M in external research funding from government and industrial sources and $10M in equipment grants. He has founded two startup companies and has been on the board of directors of several others.
