Bio
Paul Furio brings over 15 years of professional software development to Novel ranging from video games to business software. He has worked on videogames across a spectrum of consoles from Xbox and Xbox 360 to PC and Web. Paul has also worked on known franchises such as Harry Potter and Total Annihilation, and was a key contributor to the launch of both Forza Motorsport and 1 vs. 100 (the first Massively Multiplayer Game Show) at Microsoft.
Most recently, Paul served as Lead Developer at Playdom Seattle until their recent acquisition by The Walt Disney Company for over $850M where he gained valuable insight into and experience in startups and social gaming. He is currently Technical Director at Novel, Inc., a Redmond, WA company that has released the free-to-play MMO "Empire & State", and is leading the industry in the world of Enterprise Simulation, the application of game technology to the business world with the intent of making the workplace more productive, engaging, and fun.
Paul holds a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
