Bio
Casey Noland is the CEO and co-founder of Noesis Interactive, the premier developer of academic courseware and instructional materials for game production programs and industry developers.
A graduate of the University of CA at Santa Cruz’ film production program, he has professional experience as a technical illustrator, editor, compositor and as the Creative Director of an award-winning Bay Area production company. An avid gamer whose development efforts began humbly enough with a parent-pleasing word-game, coded in BASIC and designed to inform his older sister of the dangers of smoking. He began modding as a young level designer and scripter for various Duke Nukem 3D campaigns, kicking ass and chewing bubble gum along the way. Currently Casey leads efforts at Noesis, bringing education clients together with industry partners, such as Unity Technologies, Valve Corporation, and others to leverage the latest gaming technologies in class. Casey is fascinated by machinima and the rapid convergence of gaming and digital filmmaking to create immersive interactive experiences.
Noesis Interactive is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, just minutes from Silicon Valley.
